Humani’Terre, a France-based charity that has links to Hamas, has launched a fundraising campaign to aid Palestinians following the recent terror attacks by Hamas and Israel’s retaliatory strikes in Gaza.
The charity group is urging people to donate as the conflict in Israel continues to escalate.
“Emergency aid is being deployed to help those affected. We are counting on your support to provide them with emergency assistance,” the group said on its website.

Humani’Terre is one of several organizations with ties to Hamas to have started donation campaigns in support of Gaza following the terrorist attacks that struck Israel over the weekend, killing more than 1,300 people and injuring over 2,000 others, Kharon found. The charity directs donors to its website, where donations are processed by Stripe, an online payment platform.
Humani’Terre, a legally registered NGO in France, was established in 2018. On its website, the NGO lists the same addresses and phone numbers that were used by Commite de Bienfaisance et de Secours aux Palestiniens (also known as CBSP or Soutien Humani’terre), which was sanctioned by the U.S. in 2003 as a “primary [fundraiser] for Hamas in France." In November 2022, the Government of Australia listed Humani’Terre as an aka for CBSP.
A number of Humani’Terre’s leaders and employees previously worked at CBSP. For example, as of 2020, Gaza-based Nazeh al-Banna worked as the local representative of Humani’Terre, the same position he previously held with CBSP.
According to the U.S. Department of the Treasury, CBSP “collected large amounts of money from mosques and Islamic centers, which it then transfers to sub-organizations of Hamas.”
Humani’Terre has partnered with entities in Gaza controlled or affiliated with Hamas over recent years.
