UFLPA Enforcement: Automotive Industry Subjected to Increased Scrutiny, Diligence Obligations

In this Snapshot we examine the role of forced labor in the automotive supply chain, focusing on graphite sourced from the Xinjiang region. As the U.S. government increasingly scrutinizes various industries importing goods that may be linked to forced labor, it is prioritizing materials like graphite for enforcement actions under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA).
